Ata Aboriginal Culture Craft sells a variety of handmade glass beads, textiles, and leather items handcrafted by aboriginal people. Taitung Showtime Mall is the biggest traditional shopping mall with indoor stalls and internationally recognizable brands.
There are some local shops in the city that specialize in handmade and unique fashion creations. Apart from traditional stores, there are also street markets 台東 名產 where you can buy fashionable clothes and shoes. These markets are where you can find clothes with  a traditional Taiwanese design and quality.

You can learn about the history of Taitung and about the indigenous people there. You’ll also get a glimpse into how some of the landmarks around the city were built. It was quite interesting, and I’ve enjoyed my time here.

Guests are welcome to grab a drink at the nearby coffee stand, browse the artwork and head back to the railway station to photograph the one train that passes by every hour. I loved falafal and rice set, fries were crispy and tasty with spicy texture. Its vegan and vegetarian friendly the atmosphere there with good vibes and art makes you feel energetic.

Grab a coffee from Jinzun Café (金樽咖啡), whose café offers an unbeatable view. The staircase down to the beach far below is in disrepair. Nearby, seafood lovers can head to Fugang Fish Harbor to enjoy one of the harborside seafood restaurants. This is also where ferries depart for Green Island (see “Offshore Islands of Taitung” section below). The hot spring is accessed on the remote Southern Cross-Island Highway .
Attached photo is the Deep-fried Chicken with unique flavour. This place would've been a lot better if it wasn't raining. Even though it was raining, the kids had a blast feeding the  ostriches and goats. We didn't spend much time walking around the gardens due to the rain, but I'm sure if there was more time we'd be able to spend even more time there.
This rest area offers unobstructed views of the eastern coastline and is also a great spot for just taking a break and enjoying the soothing sounds of the sea. Spend your afternoon leisurely exploring the area. Visit local artisan shops to pick up unique souvenirs such as indigenous crafts, tea, or Taitung’s famous mochi.

Additionally, the restaurant provides refreshing beverages like Lin Zhengzong winter melon tea and sour plum soup in their refrigerator. We enjoyed the foods sitting by the beach and burning fire. Spent a beautiful night here with good music and nice sea breeze. Very very delicious pizza and nice environment for dining ! The pizza base is crunchy type and all kind of topping are just perfect match.

The establishment plays nostalgic tunes from past eras, which adds to its charm. The cuisine is enjoyable and reasonably priced, and they also provide the option of a private dining area. Overall, it's a decent choice for those who appreciate local delicacies at an average cost.
