Local legend has it that three ofChina’s Eight Immortalsonce  walked around the island, which is how it acquired  its name. Sanxiantai is is a good place to watch the sunrise and a great spot for photographers. From Sanxiantai Beach, a pebble beach stretching for more than 10 kilometers, you can admire a beautiful eight-arched bridge that's shaped like a sea dragon. Take a boat ride down the river, explore the many trails and waterfalls, hop on a mountain bike, or try to spot some of the bird species which call this park home.
